My Week in Review and Writing Links

Hello everyone. Happy Friday! This week, I started making wedding crutches … I’ll show a tutorial on here at some point. So far, I’ve transformed one grey and scuffed crutch into something beautiful using satin ribbon, strong adhesive double-sided tape, and organza flowers. Now I have to get cracking on the other one–I just have to wait for the ebay seller to get back from holiday so that I can order more flowers, lols!! I love getting a chance to express my creative side 🙂 As well as that, I’ve written more flash fiction stories and have made a start on another short story using the following Storymatic prompts …

  1. Person who takes shortcuts
  2. Person who needs to remove a tattoo right away
  3. Fever
  4. Rest area

I love these! I also fell in love with this week’s quote at first sight. I’m sure many of you would agree with the sentiment 🙂

When I added up the word count on the five stories I’ve completed already, I have roughly 20,400 words! At this rate, I’ll have enough for another book before long.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Here are your links for this week:

I am so happy for you, Harmony. I know your wedding crutches will be magnificent – transformed by your loving attention. I can’t wait to see a photo of them. And, hopefully, you’ll share a photo of you as well. ♥

Thanks, Gwen! I will most definitely share pics of the big day when it happens. It’s so hard not being able to share pics of the dress, lol 😂. So far, only my bestie has seen it as she went dress shopping with me. 😊
