Hi everyone. Exciting news today! I’ve written a short, non-fiction piece, on Vocal, about living with chronic pain. This is the second article in a planned a series of pieces on the many aspects of living with long term pain.Β The article is around 1,500 words long.Β

I’d love to know what you think! And would be delighted if you could read my competition entry HERE and leave a like and a comment. To like and comment, you’ll need to sign in to Vocal, which is free to do.Β

Thanks for all your support! Hugs πŸ€—πŸ’•πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Harmony, I left you a comment on the underlying page. I don’t think you have ever mentioned the cause of your pain and I have assumed it has something to do with the operation you had that went so badly. I hope your pain levels will improve again soon.

    • Thanks so much, Robbie. I’ve mentioned some of it here and there. Over the years, I’ve had pain due to the surgical injury. However, this more recent stuff is much worse and seems to be immune related. The current guess says Vaccine Injury. Steroid therapy was effective at first but isn’t now, and the GP is weaning me off them. Thanks for asking, and for your wonderful, sharing comment on Vocal. πŸ’•πŸ™‚

  2. Great series of posts and an important topic Harmony. Yes, I do believe people will feel better when they read your post, because you relay what so many don’t say. I think you’re a warrior woman. And I can only imagine how hard it is to have to rely on someone to help you, because I have always been so self-reliant and have feared the what if I can’t. And oh, getting your coffee right should be a big priority and knowing how you like it by now. Just sayin’ Lols Hugs xox (P.S. I can ‘like’ and share from that other page, but still can’t comment there. Oh, and I never receive replies from you blog. Arg! <3

    • That’s so good of you to say! Sorry about the comments. Hugs πŸ’•πŸ™‚

  3. Harmony, I am still having problems in signing into Vocal. Will look into it. But I wanted to let you know I like your analogy of coffee and insights into tackling chronic pain on daily basis. Take care. πŸ™‚β€οΈ

    • Sorry you’re having issues with the Vocal sign in. Thanks so much for trying, and for your support and lovely comment here, Punam. Hugs πŸ’•πŸ™‚

  4. In the States we’d say, “If you want something done properly…” I guess it’s tweaked a little from the UK version. Anyway, it’s an insightful article that I read with much interest. Bravo, Harmony!
