That Moment When You Realise …
… That this isn’t going to be a big book but needs to be three books, lol! OMG. Over 300 colour-coded plotted scene index cards for 7 main characters, and I’m not done yet. I had intended to start this when new settlers land on the planet and find other life, but now I realise this is going to need the journey there and the bit after the relief ship arrives. This is because of all the shenanigans of the characters … they never do what they’re told, lol 🙂
Ah well, it keeps me busy … I don’t know about sane, though!
Oh, and this from a gal who doesn’t outline or plot, LMAO … I guess old dogs can learn new tricks! 🙂
Wow!! You’ve certainly got your work cut out for you, Harmony!
Sure have, Jan 🙂
I can’t even think that big. I’m terrified about writing two sequels, but am determined to do it.
Spot on, Craig. I’ve never done anything like this before, lol 😊
LOL! That’s a lot of notes for a non-plotter 😀
LOL, sure is, Mae! 🤣 I feel like I’ve written a book already! 😁
Stories do seem to have a mind of their own. I’ve never plotted it out like that, but after the book I’m working on I just might.
If you do, I’d love to hear how you get on, Denise 😊
This is what scares me about embracing new technology. In my head, scenes don’t seem nearly as complex.
Lol! The fun will begin when I start mixing them all up to interweave POVs and plot threads! 😳🤣
