#NaPoWriMo: A Poem A Day – Day 13

Hi everyone! Today is day thirteen of the national poetry month competition.

Here’s my offering >>>

[Instructions:] From NaPoWriMo Day Thirteen … Today, in honor of the potential luckiness of the number 13, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem that, like the example poem here, joyfully states that “Everything is Going to Be Amazing.” … When the Sun Comes

It is getting scary. Yay for the sun’s heat in the cold.

Joan Hall

I’m not a cold weather fan at all. Nice poem, Harmony, and the photo of the kitten just tops it off!

Cool form, Harmony, and some hard truths there. Grateful for spring and warmth, for now. We take so many things for granted.💜🍃

Hey Harmony, Thank you for including the warm kitten picture — it helped with the thawing:) The ‘Waltz Wave Form” suits the rising bills and scarcity to the tee. The tension is palpable.
I had no idea that there is such a poetic form.

Jacquie Biggar

I’m looking forward to those warming rays, as well 🙂

There is always something to celebrate in a day, and sunlight is definitely on my list as well! Great poem, Harmony! 🙂

Necessity: the mother of invention. Hmm 🤔 lessons for us to learn.

I’ll take sunlight and that good ‘ol free heat any day.
Great poem, Harmony!

Excellent, Harmony. Good ole free heat.

It’s not easy being chirpy in today’s circumstances but you’ve managed a very upbeat poem. Nicely done.

Staci Troilo

You nailed it, Harmony. Looking forward to a lower heating bill for sure!

Not a happy situation but an interesting form of poetry, Harmony. I hope you are able to resolve all the things you talk about in the poem.

Priscilla Bettis

Yeah, inflation is scary. Cool poem form, I’ve never heard of it before.

Beautiful timely, and as sad it sounds as important is it to remember what we owe our nature. Best wishes, Harmony! Have a nice day! xx Michael
