Is There A Difference Between Participial Phrase And Gerund?
As ever, all the terminology has my eyes glaze over and my brain stall, lol, but there’s some good stuff in here … the examples are great … so for a bit of grammar help, read on … 🙂
A participial phrase uses a present or past participle to describe the subject of a sentence. Be careful not to confuse the gerund with the present participle.
