The Iron Dwellers …

 

Hi everyone. In the wee small hours of this morning, when my muse insisted on being decidedly wide awake to pester me relentlessly, lols 😂 , I wrote a short story for Vocal’s Magical Realism Under Purple Clouds challenge. It took me all day, and now I’m a tad bit tired, so I’ll be playing catchup online tomorrow!

 

Vocal’s criteria for this fiction challenge is to ‘Write the first chapter of a magical realism story that starts with the following sentence:

‘Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky.’
