#TANKATUESDAY Weekly #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 249, #ThemePrompt #Haiga #Haiku @SyllabicPoetry @ColleenChesebro

Hi everyone! Today, I’ve joined Colleen’s weekly TankaTuesday challenge and have written a Haiga in a 5-7-5 syllabic format. You can find Colleen’s post HERE.

From last month’s challenge, I chose the theme for this month:

Kindness

Did you know November is Kindness month?

  1. Great Haiga! No, I didn’t know it, or better I didn’t remember it. Yes, November is kindness month, I wonder if it was chosen because of the change in the weather, lots of people gets depressed this time of the year.

  2. lovely theme. And the best part of this is that we already come with it >> like those commercials of yore that claimed an ‘Eveready’ battery– those long-lasting batteries– already included for reliability inside the device. haha. Or the ‘Intel Inside’ ones for computers. The ones for humans would read: Kindness Inside! How cool, right?
    Ever-Ready… got it? I do.
And, no, I did not know that November was kindness month. How cool you are for making me aware of this. Thanks.

  3. This is a great poem, Harmony. I must work harder at this superpower. Life is just so busy that it often feels as if there just isn’t the time to be kind and patient with others when they can’t do what they should be able to do. I wonder about the world’s education system…

    • Lols! I admit that, at times, I fail utterly to live up to my name! 😂 Here’s to keeping on trying and smiling! 🙂

  4. I like kindness compared to a superpower, Harmony! What a great picture to combine it with too 🙂 Thanks for a great theme.

    • I reckon it’s something folks often either fail to notice or see as weakness. If only they knew! So thrilled you liked the poem and picture. Thanks, Denise 🙂

  5. Beautiful, Harmony! I didn’t know that November is kindness month. Your poem captures the sentiment perfectly. 💗

  6. How lovely to think there is a month reserved to celebrate kindness.

Your poem is exquisite, Harmony. So much said in so few words!

  7. Oh, I love this, Harmony! And I love that any month would be named as Kindness month. Just beautiful!
