My Week in Review and Writing Links

Hello everyone. Happy Friday! It’s been a tough week health-wise … came down with a heavy virus on Thursday last week and it’s got its foot jammed in the door, refusing to leave, lol. Also had a full day hospital visit on Monday, where it transpired I had to have a large growth removed and am now awaiting biopsy results. Some of what occurred in the treatment room needs to go in a book sometime … talk about hilarious. Which makes this week’s quote oh so apt and true! The good news is that the steroid injection I had late last month has helped … yay!! While the shoulder is still frozen, it is much, much less painful 🙂

I haven’t done a lot of writing, what with everything going on, but I did come up with one of those lines that makes you giggle after you’ve written it. One of those tired and over-used cliches came to mind … ‘pregnant pause’ … nope, wasn’t having that. Just about to write something completely different, my wonderful muse came up with a refreshing take on it …

‘The pause that followed wasn’t just pregnant, it was at full-term with the baby’s head poking out.’

I know, I’m weird sometimes! 😉

Anyway, that’s it from me for now. I hope you’ve all had a good week and have an even better weekend. Here are this week’s links …
