AmWriting!-15 & Final Day!!

Hi everyone. Today is my fifteenth and final day of writing, and I’ve written 2,300 words today, bringing my total to 50,277 words. The first draft is complete! Whoo-hoo 🙂

I began day one on February 5th and took off weekends. In addition, I had some hospital days, which delayed progress. Still, I have completed draft 1 of this whole novel in the space of 24 actual days!

Now I need a rest, lols! Perhaps I could go and build a snowman …

This is after just a couple of hours. Cornwall hasn’t seen this kind of white stuff for about 13 years, and Storm Emma hasn’t even hit us yet; although, the wind is picking up. I have my own private ski slope on the front ramp, lols.

I always get so excited at this stage of just finishing a book. I’ll keep you posted as to when it will get released, and that’s when the nervousness will kick in … it always does, no matter how many times I hit that publish button! he he he.

Keep well, everyone, and thank you for accompanying me on this writing journey 🙂

The resultant book will be Erotic Romance.

She’s a hopeful actress.

He’s a mentor.

Then there’s the big man who can make or break a career, and the demands he makes.

Watch this space! 🙂

That’s always an excellent feeling, especially after such a blitz for a record time! <3
Emma's just getting underway up here in N. Cornwall, but so far the snow's not too thick as it's been dandruff – sparrow's feathers size! lol Trouble is it's as dry as chips, so it's blowing everywhere so it could be dodgy in the lanes tomorrow… My grocery delivery was cancelled today so I hope I can get out tomorrow after the tractors have ploughed the lanes! 😀

I reckon we’ve had about 3 inches now, and the stiffening wind is making it drift in places. Fingers crossed you get out okay tomorrow … looks like we’ll be foraging in the freezer instead of getting groceries, lols! Glad I keep spare milk frozen! Keep warm and safe, Jan 😊 x

You definitely have reason to celebrate, turning a draft around that fast. I’m still laboring over the same WIP I started in mid November—though I did manage almost 2K today while sick, so I’m feeling pretty jazzed about that.

Amazing to think how rare that snowfall is for you.My friend in Romania got hit hard too. Stay warm over there!

I think you just won NANO, if it were only November. Stay warm and safe.

Harmony, I’m so excited for you. I know this book got you back in the groove, and you really crushed it with daily word count and first draft speed. Kudos to you! Congratulations! Make a warm beverage and take the weekend to relax. You’ve earned it. 🙂

Thanks so much, Staci! It is so great to be back in my groove! I missed it through most of last year. Having to be patient now and leave it alone for a while before giving a second run-through 🙂
